Listen.
I love a "purist" approach to restoring an older car - especially when that car is a Porsche 944 or 944 Turbo.
However, when we're also in the business of engineering and testing new products we assemble and disassemble these cars more often than the normal garage DIYer.
For us, this meant continually clipping out the wire harnesses and hose systems under the hood of the 944. And as you know - the OEM Porsche wire ties are "single-use."

Don't get me wrong, they are a great design, with the wire tie integrated into the thread-catching holder - it's just that one slip up, and you're doing it all over again (and tossing out the wire-tie with the holder).

So naturally, I looked for a way to prototype systems while also being able to zip up the wiring and hoses over and over again - and a product idea was born.
I also decided, because this part is so simple, so small, and so non-critical, why not just offer the .STL up to the Porsche community for FREE.

So - I went to work, and using CAD, made what I think is a pretty universal "reusable" wire tie holder that threads onto a standard Porsche engine tab.

As long as you have access to a 3D printer - enjoy! Of course, if you don't have access to a 3D printer, or can't wait, you can buy some HERE - that also include the fitted wire ties.

Share them, trade them, but don't go selling them as yours - that's lame.
